"We stopped in on our way to the 956. A friend had told me about it. We decided to stop for an early dinner/late lunch. The service was awesome. The waitress was friendly, and incredibly welcoming. She was attentive without it being too much. The food was delicious and for a 7oz Angus steak, I couldn't finish it! The salad was so crisp and fresh. A 10 out of 10 for me. Well worth the slight detour!"

"Servers were great,
This place is 50% pricier than Texas Roadhouse, but the mashed potatoes and other portions were pretty small. Mashed potatoes are cheap to make, no idea why it was served in a kitty dish. Same goes with bread rolls. They gave me a basket with 1 single roll. I get that I’m 1 person, but 2 would have made me felt like a valued customer.
For a 10 oz steak + loaded mashed potatoes/asparagus + a coke, it was $31.50 ish not including a tip.
Server was super polite, prompt, and awesome.
But this restaurant should improve their hospitality."

"Wow! Such a nice surprise!! My family and I had dinner here on a busy Friday evening. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. The service was excellent!! The cocktails were very good!! The bar actually has a bar tender making cocktails as advertised…very refreshing! The food was all delicious!! We shared fried pickles and the the wild shrimp appetizers…perfectly executed. The grilled founder was perfectly cooked and seasoned! The quail was so perfectly grilled and seasoned!! The whole table was completely satisfied!! Great little food gem for Kingsville!! Keep up the great work!"

"First time, and it was a fantastic experience. The waitress was very friendly and attentive!! The steaks were cooked to perfection and had a really good smokey taste. The fried mushrooms were good, and the bread was fresh tasting, and the butter was also super good. The place is spacious, and it was a very comfortable place to enjoy a meal with family! The only small disappointment was I wanted to try the steak sandwich but was told they had sold the last one, so hopefully, next time they will have it."

"Don’t let dairy queen looking building fool you. This is s great steakhouse. The mesquite smoke 16oz ribeye was amazing added 2 of the best quail Ive ever had. Service was above average. I will go out of my way to eat there again."

"We were on our way from SA to RGV and found this place. The food is delicious. I have am allergy to mesquite: everything grilled uses mesquite. I gad the fried fish plate. It was very moist, good flavor. My husband had the steak with gorgonzola. It was so tender he cut it with a fork. The reason for the low rating on the atmosphere: it was freezing in there and it was loud. Don't let that stop you from having a REALLY good steak.."
